This white balsamic condimento is elegant, soft and light. It is low in acidity and ideal for everyday use. It has a perfectly balanced, well rounded and simply delicious flavour.
It is made from the Trebbiano (note: not the darker Lambrusco) grapes grown on the enchanting estate of Nicolo Verrini in the countryside near to Modena in northern Italy.
Use this delicious white balsamic on its own or in combination with absolutely any of The Gift of Oil’s olive oils (3 parts oil to 1 part balsamic) as a dip with fresh, crusty bread or as a dressing over salads, meats, fish, vegetables and desserts. Very useful aesthetically when preferring a dish not to be discoloured by using a dark dressing, for instance, over pasta salads, potato salads or grilled white fish.
Use with our Lime oil over crab meat, pan fried scallops or prawns.
Use with our Mint oil over an apple, pear and rocket salad, fig and mozzarella salad or apple and brie salad.
Use with our Rosemary and Garlic oil over white fish or fish pie.
