A lovely artisan balsamic made from grapes grown on the family estate of Nicolo Verrini in the countryside near to Modena in northern Italy. The grapes are crushed and slowly cooked down over a long period of time into a remarkably thick, dense must, which is then mixed with just a little wine vinegar before being allowed to mature in ancient oak barrels.
