How is Lia made?
Made exclusively with the native Greek Koroneiki olive, Lia use cold extraction to make sure the nutritional value, taste and flavour of the fruit are transferred into the oil pulp. Inspired by a traditional olive press Lia olive oil is presented in a matte white bottle. Lia combines traditional methods of cultivation with modern techniques in order to respect the sustainability of the ecosystem.
Where are Lia Olives Grown?
Grown on a family estate near to the picturesque town of Filiatra in southern Greece, Lia extra virgin olive oil is produced by Cristina Stribacu. The olives are grown by trees that were planted by Cristina herself. The fruit ripens between November and December, producing high-quality fruity, bitter, flavoursome oils. The olives are picked by hand ensuring that neither the fruit nor the tree is damaged.
