It has an exquisite flavour and is sublime when used sparingly (by the drop!) on the very best quality steaks, grilled fish, venison, rare roast beef, king prawns, lobster, scallops, Parma ham, Parmigiana Reggiano, blue cheeses, strawberries and ice cream.
This divine balsamic is made from Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes grown on the magical estate of the Verini family in the countryside near to Modena in northern Italy.
The very, very best of those grapes are carefully selected, crushed and then cooked down into a top quality must which is then lovingly nurtured for at least twelve years in the family's priceless and ancient wooden barrels of Mulberry, Cherry, Juniper and Oak.
When the vinegar is eventually bottled it boasts the most remarkable flavour which words cannot adequately describe or do justice to.
